'SAHAYATA' a voluntary social service NGO as established in 1988 inspired by the noble vision of "Serving Humanity is Serving the God". Since then it has been actively involved in mitigating the critical needs of the poor and the deprived, disabled, blind and handicapped in a compassionate and caring manner.
SAHAYATA' is located at Indore in the premises of the biggest 750 bedded hospital of Madhya Pradesh -"Maharaja Yashwant Rao Hospital". A dedicated group of around 350 enlightened activists (Sahayatarthis) drawn from different walks of life have been sparing their valuable time daily with pleasure with Voluntary service. In a short span of time 'SAHAYATA' is now running 24 centers in major hospitals as well as free clinics in need locations in M.P., Maharashtra and Chhatisgarh states.
The main focus of 'SAHAYATA' has been in the field of timely healthcare, free distribution of medicines diagnostics and other medical assistance, provision of nutritious food to children, pregnant and locating mothers below the poverty line. Our volunteers visit needy patients in their respective working areas and arrange prompt medical assistance, From time to time, "SAHAYATA" has also played a meaningful role and has established a successful track record by rushing timely relief materials to famine, flood or earthquake hit states.
'SAHAYATA' collects around 30 lakhs rupees per month, but the extended help through this organization on a monthly basis is worth Rs. 3.2 crore. This calculation can be understood in this way:

"SAHAYATA' Organization is operating four 'SAHAYATA' dispensaries in four different areas of Indore, where free consultation and medicines are made available by senior doctors. The main objective behind this effort is this that the services of 'SAHAYATA organization should be available to every poor and needy person within a maximum distance of around two to two and a half kilometers. Treatment is made available to around 300-500 patients everyday under this scheme.
Day-care recreational centre for senior citizens have been initiated at different places of the city in this scheme. Along with audio visual room, library, internet and indoor games, yoga training is also imparted in these centres. The motive behind these centres is to utilize their spare time creatively. Camps are also held on every Sunday for different diseases where senior doctors are available to provide consultations
Under this scheme, the institute keeps doctors, nurses, and all types of medicines in mobile vans in Indore and Bhopal.The van here treats about 300 patients from 15 villages daily for free. Also, it also treats serious patients there by bringing them to the hospital. Under this, telemedicine scheme is also being launched in future.
